In addition to acting on
stage, dancing in our studio, and vocal training with our professional
accompanist, kids in grades K-3 like to have fun. Loads of fantastic
activities are planned for students, including writing their own silly
plays, using their imaginations to explore far off places, and
participating in arts and crafts fun.
In a typical Starbursts Mini-Camp week, students will Sing, Dance, and Perform their way through games and activities meant to foster their interest in the theater. No experience is necessary for students to enjoy working with our professionally trained teaching artists. Students will perform in short plays, learn songs from popular musicals and dance, if the student is so inclined. Popular performance material will be chosen from various plays which include Snoopy, The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Seussical, The Sound of Music, Shakespeare's plays, Beauty and the Beast, and many, many more. They will learn about stage combat, stage make-up, make-up effects, puppetry, costuming, and clowning/juggling. They will also have a show brought in exclusively for them to attend. Each 3-week session will end in a performance for family and friends. Students will receive a printed program, certificate of participation and a cast party. Why walk or run? ...When you can sing, dance and act your way to a great time at Encore! School of Performing Arts' Starbursts Mini-Camp designed especially for kids in grades Kindergarten through Third... We hope to see you there! Available Discounts $100 off if full payment
